Agencies are where you can find new drivers in both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. Every city nearly has an agency with shows on the map first as a gray box with a question mark like the truck dealers too but, when discovered, they changed to a yellow box with a black magnifying glass. Maximum drivers in Euro Truck Simulator 2 available to hire are around 230 while American Truck Simulator has around the same limit but since it has less than 60 total cities, max drivers available to hire are around 45 - 55.
Each driver available to hire as a certain rating from 0.0 to 10.0 but most drivers that are ready to hire will be below at least 3.0 out of 10.0 possible driving score.
Each driver has a certain wage number that has to be paid at least daily/weekly during the whole game. When a driver completes a job, parts of the wage will come out of fuel, repairs, and also their job income as well. When drivers gain skills and a higher rating, their wages will go up until they have max skills in all categories in the game.
Each driver has a certain amount of skills in a certain skill category. Mostly 1 - 3 in a random skill category just to vary things. Over time, the driver's skills (like the player's skills) will grow and get better over time and the income overall will increase.
